What We Offer
Nursery
Our goal is to establish trust by meeting needs consistently, including extra snuggles after a tough drop-off, and to provide a safe and fun environment with age-appropriate toys and textures.
Base Camp
Base Camp is a special time for our younger learners on Sunday mornings. After we sing our worship songs, kids 4-8 are dismissed to their own class to hear bible lessons and do crafts and games. When kids celebrate their 9th birthday we give them a special gift and welcome them into our services.
Bible Explorers
Bible Explorers meet on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. Together kids learn about the Bible as God’s true word. They enjoy crafts and games that help them apply the lessons, and they work on memory verses to hide God’s Word in their hearts. We want kids to know that the church is a safe, fun place to explore faith, make friends, and feel encouraged.
What about older kids on Sunday?
We know that sometimes kids are seen as a distraction from worship. And yes, it can get a little wild at times, but we also believe that the family is intended to worship together. In order to manage this as best we can we invite everyone to worship together in our Sunday morning service.
We have nursery for infants and toddlers, and base camp for 4 - 8 year-olds and dismiss them after our worship time together. The nurseries are open if you need them and will always be staffed after we sing. These classes are always optional and kids are welcome throughout our service. And don’t worry about the little noises and occasional cries--that’s all a part of life together.
We do have activity/note sheets for the kids during the message and only ask that parents train up their kids to love and cherish the time spent in worship and learning.
